Spokane, WA — On May 2, 2025 Sarah Dixit registered with the WA Public Disclosure Commission (PDC) to run in district 2 (North East and East Central Spokane) for Spokane’s City Council. This position is currently held by council member Jonathan Bingle who is running for reelection.

As reported by by Joel Moreno, KOMO News Reporter on February 19th 2024, Sarah Dixit shares,
“I think the biggest thing is making sure we are creating an equal playing field for folks engaging in their work,” said Sarah Dixit with Pro-Choice Washington.

Let’s get this straight. Sarah Dixit believes that adding alcohol to stripper establishments is a solution to the problem that plagues so many young people, especially women, who get caught up in the sex trades?
Sarah Dixit’s “Strippers Bill of Rights” House Bill 2495 which never got out of committee and Senate Bill 6105 which actually made it through the liberal WA Senate, the liberal WA House on strict party lines was signed by Governor Inslee.
According to the Associated Press as published in national news on March 25, 2024,
“Gov. Jay Inslee signed the measure, which creates safer working conditions for people in the adult entertainment industry and makes it possible for the clubs to sell alcohol.”
This is where Sarah spends her time? Advocating for the sex trades?
