Spokesman-Review “endorses” the Spokane Protest Nine?

Sept. 9, 2025 // SPOKANE, WA - Front page. Above the fold. Spokesman-Review reporter Alexandra Duggan begins her “coverage” in today’s paper, “Smoke and pepper balls filled the streets of Spokane on June 11.” Duggan goes to little length to explain why law enforcement was called to the illegal and angry scene created by former Spokane City Council President Ben Stuckart.

Duggan spends much of her reporting sharing the sentiments of Bajun Mavalwalla, the father of Bajun Dhunjisha Mavalwalla II, who, age 35 has been charged with Conspiracy to Impede or Injure Officers as posted by the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Eastern District of Washington.

What Duggan doesn’t mention is that people like Bajun Dhunjisha Mavalwalla II had the expectation to break the law and be arrested. This was a planned illegal operation. See the video below.

As you watch the below video, please note that at minute 2:00, the speaker presents “guidelines.” She/they states, “There are two groups. Observers, and Willing Arrestees.” Speaker continues, “Some of us are willing to risk arrest.” More “guidelines”, “Sit around the bus … if you are willing to be arrested.”

What Duggan also failed to do, while promoting Bajun Mavalwalla and Bajun Dhunjisha Mavalwalla II and their fifteen minutes of fame is to highlight Spokesman-Review’s reporting by Emry Dinman just last week that doesn’t paint the Mavalwalla’s in such a favorable light. Emry Dinman reports,

“Bajun Mavalwalla, who worked as Bank’s campaign manager and whose son faces federal prosecution for his role in the June 11 protests, and Jenna Fliesen, who also worked on Bank’s campaign and currently serves on the party’s executive board. Mavalwalla and Fliesen work together on a political consulting group called Nebula, though they denied Bank was involved in the business other than as a client.

Bajun Mavalwalla of “Nebula” is not the hero that The Spokesman-Review portrays.

See posts my Bajun and Nebula …

And there is this post …

Americans are weak?

No thank you Bajun. You and your anti-American thoughts are not welcome here. We are not weak. Your facebook and liberal efforts to turn Americans against each other are weak.
